Over the last 13 years, CentralNic has evolved its registry platform to be modularised, optimised and stable, using the most trusted and reliable technologies. In this time, the registry system has evolved to become an advanced, flexible and robust registry platform, handling hundreds of millions of DNS queries, and many thousands of registry transactions every day.
CentralNic's registry system is a modular, distributed platform running from locations all over the world, and we are adding new sites all the time. We work closely with the industry's leading providers of connectivity and hosting to ensure high levels of service for both DNS and registrar interfaces.

- Extensible Provisioning Protocol (EPP) - the standard protocol for registry-registar communications
- High-performance WHOIS server
- High-availability DNS infrastructure, employing both Unicast and Anycast technology
- Fast DNS zone updates (currently every 15 minutes)
